Dear IRIS Parent,
Members of the IRIS (Infants Remembered In Silence, Inc.) support group would like to invite you, your family and friends to our upcoming support group meeting. IRIS is an organization made up of people helping people. Parents, family members and friends who have experienced the death of a child, supporting others who have experienced the same pain. We know that the thought of attending your first meeting can be intimidating, and somewhat scary. We have found that we look forward to future meetings and feel a great sense of comfort by attending.
All support group meetings are informal and are a wonderful place to talk openly about our children that we miss so very much, our experiences, our feelings, and share our memories. You are encouraged to bring any and all keepsakes that you would like to share, including pictures. We would love to see them.
We hope that you will be able to join us at the IRIS office for the meetings. There is no registration required and no fees. Meetings are open ended, meaning that you can come for as long as you would like and that meetings are not held as a 4 or 6 series/class.
